le pense-bête pour ne rien oublier …

A board you never retype

Curseur is a shared board for a household: the things you buy, each with a curseur beside it. Flick it when you need something. Flick it back when it is in the trolley. Nobody types milk twice.

For iPhone. Not yet on the App Store.

The phone is live. Tap a row on it to flick the curseur.

It began as a vintage French enamel board — a pense-bête à curseurs — with the household's shopping painted on and a sliding cursor beside each line. This is that board, on the phone you take to the shop, shared with the people you live with.

Toggle, never retype

Your board holds everything you ever buy. Flick an item on when you need it and off when it is in the trolley. Add a new one once and it stays for next time.

One board, the whole household

Everyone in the household sees the same board and flicks the same curseurs. Share an invite code and they have every board you keep.

Made for the shop

Cross to shop mode and the board shows only what you need, aisle by aisle. A tap buys; Undo takes it back. It works with no signal at all.

No ads, no trackers

Nothing on your board is sold, tracked or analysed. Your shopping is yours, and stays in the household.

Questions

Is there a shared shopping list for two people on iPhone?

Yes. Curseur is a shopping board a household keeps together: both phones show the same board, and a flick on one appears on the other within a moment. You share it with an invite code from the app, and there is nothing to subscribe to.

Everyone in the household has every board you keep: the weekly shop, the DIY list, the one for the trip. When one of you is in the shop and the other at home, the board is the same on both phones, and the shop's own view shows only what is needed, aisle by aisle.

Does the shopping list work with no signal in the supermarket?

Yes. Every phone keeps the whole board, so it works in a basement with no signal at all. You can flick, add, file and shop offline, and the changes are sent when you surface.

The board on your phone is the real board, not a window on a server. Whatever you do offline is kept, in order, and reaches the household as soon as a connection returns.

Is there a shopping list app with no ads and no trackers?

Curseur has no ads and no trackers, and nothing on your board is sold or analysed. What is on your board stays with the people on it.

There is no analytics kit in the app and no third party on this website. The privacy policy says what is kept: what you put on the board, for the household that shares it.

How is Curseur different from a shared Apple Note?

A shared note is retyped every week and deleted line by line in the shop. Curseur holds everything you ever buy and gives each line a cursor: you flick it on when you need the thing and off when it is in the trolley. Nothing is typed twice.

Curseur began as a replacement for exactly that note, in one household that kept its shopping in Apple Notes for years. The note had the right people on it and the wrong shape: a list that empties. A board never empties; it only changes state.

What is a pense-bête à curseurs?

A vintage French enamel board with the household's shopping painted on it and a sliding cursor beside each line, moved to mark what is needed. Curseur is that board, on the phone you take to the shop.

The story of the object, and why the notch matters, is told in The pense-bête à curseurs.

Is Curseur coming to Android?

Not yet. Curseur is for iPhone first. An Android app on the same boards is planned, so a household with both kinds of phone can share one board; there is no date.

What does Curseur cost?

Nothing to start: Curseur is free. Extras will come as a one-time unlock, never a subscription, and there will never be ads.

Which iPhones run Curseur?

Any iPhone on iOS 26 or later. Curseur is a native iPhone app, built for the current system rather than the widest one.
